Zombieland Headshot Fever is a fast-paced arcade-style VR shooter. Taking a nostalgic view of light gun shooters of yester year and combining the genre with the witty mayhem of the Zombieland IP creates a fun and dynamic experience.
Zombieland Headshot Fever was a finalist in both the 2021 Tiga Awards as well as the VR Awards 2021

Responsibilities:​​

Created Blockouts of several levels, then maintained them to a
release-ready state. As well as picking up initial blackouts from other designers and handling the layout reworks.

Handled the Enemy population passes of 7 levels as well as covering other levels depending on team absences.

Worked closely with the environment artists to ensure the levels kept to the intended atmosphere while workshopping ideas as a team.

Designed several of the Gun range challenge maps collaborating with the VP of Games Design (Chuan Li)

Worked closely with the designers to create a varied suite of achievements, missions, and collectible content.

Collaborated across departments to maintain a strong level of communication, ensuring all standards and best practices were followed

Producing design documentation for updated UI/UX interactions, zombie population audits.

Produced wireframes, UI designs, and 2D assets for additional features working to the style guide set by the Lead UI/UX designer (Richard Weaver).

Assisted QA with bug testing at key stages of production, highlighting potential blockers and fixing design-related bugs

Took part in running external playtesting sessions with the Creative Director (Richard Boon) & Lead Producer (Jon Byles) to gain insight on how to better improve the level flow and enemy populations
