Hi there!
I’m Ellie, a Leeds (UK) based, game designer with over 4+ years of professional experience working primarily on VR/AR titles I have also released several mobile
phone titles.
In addition to level design, I have contributed to the UX/UI designs of the titles I have shipped. I am currently working as a Senior Game Designer
at XR Games.
During my time at XR Games, I have shipped 5 titles, with a 6th soon to be released. While I spend most of my time building and maintaining levels and writing design documentation. I also occasionally wear the hat of a UI designer to create wireframes, layouts, and
2D assets.
Before joining the games industry I held a position of Mid-level designer at an e-learning company, Virtual College (Ilkley, UK). Where I honed my skills in accessibility, corporate design, and instructional design as well as bringing my knowledge of games design to the company. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work both as a design lead and as part of a great team for a variety of clients including Adidas, Ministry of Defence, MIND, IKEA & Fujitsu.
Originally from the northern town of Scunthorpe, I am now based in the beautiful county of West Yorkshire, where I can be found happily sharing my time illustrating, morris dancing, and hiking the Dales with my partner Andy.

Graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University with a 2:1 in BSc Games Design.

I love heavy metal music and have traveled to multiple countries to attend gigs & festivals.
